Flying Fijians fly half Ben Volavola has set his sights on the next three weeks when his team will play exciting matches in the Pacific Nations Cup.

Volavola said it was great to be back after a lapse of three years and the Flying Fijians squad had a good mixture of players.

“I’m excited to be home after three years. Been a really long time because of COVID,” Volavola said.

He said joining the squad which was filled with a lot of good and young players from the Drua was really exciting.

Volavola is expected to be given a tough battle by Drua’s sensation Teti Tela for the fly half position.

The Flying Fijians take on Tonga in their opening match of the PNC at the ANZ Stadium in Suva at 3.30pm this Saturday.
